Congratulations to Paul Chung, M.D., M.S.!

Please join me in congratulating Paul Chung, M.D., M.S., on his new
appointment as:

Chief, Division of General Pediatrics
Department of Pediatrics
David Geffen School of Medicine
University of California, Los Angeles

The Division of General Pediatrics that he will lead has 22 faculty members
who supervise students and residents and provide outpatient and inpatient
services for children, adolescents, and families in Westwood, Santa Monica,
West Los Angeles, and Manhattan Beach.

Dr. Chung is Associate Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics (David
Geffen School of Medicine) and Health Services (School of Public Health) at
UCLA, and a Senior Natural Scientist at RAND.

Dr. Chung completed his Pediatric Residency at UCLA and a Robert Wood
Johnson Clinical Scholars Program fellowship and a Masters in Health Studies
at the University of Chicago. He joined the UCLA faculty in 2002. His
research focuses on child and adolescent disease prevention and health
promotion. Dr. Chung also holds the positions of Director of Research and
Operations, UCLA/RAND Prevention Research Center; Associate Director, UCLA
Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program; and Public Policy and
Advocacy Chair, Academic Pediatric Association.
