Position Announcement – Health Administration and Policy Program, University of Maryland Baltimore County

University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).  Assistant/Associate Professor.  The Health Administration and Policy Program (HAPP) invites applications for a full-time, tenure/tenure-track assistant/associate professor position beginning in fall 2016. HAPP is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that offers tracks in Health Services Administration, Health Policy, and Public Health.

Applicants should have an active research and publication record in health services, health policy, and/or public health and be committed to developing a funded research program. Qualified candidates will have a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in public health or a related field. Relevant professional work experience in the field is desirable. Candidates should have teaching experience. Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduates courses in HAPP, which may include Research Methods in Health, Human Development, Survey of the US Health Care System, and/or Global Issues in Health. In addition, all full-time, tenure/tenure-track faculty members are expected to advise undergraduate students and provide service to the department, the university, and the larger profession.
