Job Opening – McGill Department of Sociology

Applications are invited for a tenure-track position commencing August 1, 2017. The position is at the Assistant Professor level, but exceptionally qualified candidates may be considered at the Associate level. The candidate should also be able to teach these advanced methods at the graduate level. Special consideration will be given to candidates that will strengthen one or more of the department’s main research areas: comparative political sociology and development; diversity and inequalities; or population and health.

Interested candidates should submit an application consisting of a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, and one writing sample.
Applicants should also arrange for three referees to submit letters of reference. The application and the letters of reference must be uploaded directly at https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/7470
To ensure full consideration, all materials should be submitted by September 19, 2016.
