Faculty Position: Hunter College (CUNY), Dept. of Sociology

The Department of Sociology of Hunter College of the City University of New York (CUNY) seeks to fill one open rank Professor position beginning in September 2020 with a sociologist with demonstrated expertise in health and medical sociology.  We are located in New York City, and offer a liberal arts major as well as a master’s program to a large, diverse and vibrant student body. Hunter College is one of the eleven senior colleges of the City University of New York with close to 20,000 students and the Department has over 650 majors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
