The target audience are grad students and researchers who wish to get a taste of how causal concepts are used. We will start with an open discussion (with audience Q+A) of introductory concepts in causation, emphasizing complementary views and examples. In the second half of the workshop, panelists will present 5 minute talks of a causal-centric research project. The variety of panelists represent how causal concepts have been helpful in: epidemiology, political science, sociology, and statistics.
