University of Colorado Denver. The Department of Sociology invites applications for one tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin fall 2016. The department is especially interested in applicants with a strong record of primary scholarship and teaching in race and ethnicity. Expertise in criminology also is preferred. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Sociology or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.
