Vilma Ortiz receives the UCLA Student Development Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Award

Professor Vilma Ortiz has been selected as this year’s Student Development Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Award recipient.  Presented each year by the Academic Senate’s Committee on Diversity and Equal Opportunity (CODEO), the award is a tribute to Professor Ortiz’s tremendous efforts over the years to make UCLA a more diverse and inclusive place.  She will formally receive the award in May during a reception at the Chancellor’s Residence.
