Call for abstracts: Demography and Social Inequalities
20th Nordic Demographic Symposium in June 14­-16, 2017

Abstract submission for the 20th Nordic Demographic Symposium in June 14­-16, 2017 is now open. The symposium, held in Turku (Åbo), Finland, brings together researchers, students, and other experts especially from the Nordic and Baltic countries.

The main theme of the NDS2017 is ŒDemography and Social Inequalities¹, but contributions to the parallel sessions are welcome from all areas of demographic research such as family dynamics, migration, health and mortality, population ageing, and intergenerational relations. The symposium is organised by the Finnish Demographic Society in collaboration with the University of Turku Department of Social Research, TITA Research consortium, and Institute of Migration.

Deadline for abstracts: 1 February 2017, notification of acceptance by 1 March 2017.
