Job Openings: Join the HAALSI team!
The Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies has immediate openings for two outstanding researchers to join our flagship study called Health and Aging in Africa: A Longitudinal Study of an INDEPTH Community in South Africa (HAALSI). HAALSI is a program project (PO1) supported by the National Institute of Aging. It is currently in its second five-year cycle of funding with two waves of data collection included in this grant period. Auxiliary studies building on the main HAALSI project are also underway, with others being planned. The positions will work closely with HCPDS director and HAALSI PI Lisa Berkman; our collaborators at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa; as well as multiple investigators and staff, survey researchers, programmers, finance personnel, partners, and students. HAALSI consists of five sub-projects, four cores and a field site in Agincourt, South Africa.
