Faculty Affiliate Randall Kuhn and team, receive R01 funding from the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) for a four-year study to evaluate the Encampment Resolution Programs (ERPs)

Congratulations to CCPR Faculty Affiliate Professor Randall Kuhn and team, who received R01 funding from the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) for a four-year study: Health and Housing Impacts of Unsheltered Homeless Encampment Resolution Programs

This study is a partnership with the University of Southern California’s Center for Homelessness, Housing and Health Equity (H3E) and will include CCPR Affiliates Jessie Chien, Benjamin Seligman, Naomi Sugie, and Courtney Thomas Tobin. The study will conduct a large-scale mixed-methods evaluation of Encampment Resolution Programs (ERPs), a housing intervention aimed at transitioning people experiencing homelessness (PEH) from encampments into temporary, private accommodations with supportive services. It will use data from the Periodic Assessment of Trajectories of Housing, Homelessness, and Health (PATHS) study, housed at UCLA.
