Johnny Huynh is an applied microeconomist specializing in health and labor economics, and his research uses the methods of causal inference to address policy-relevant questions about inequality in health. Johnny will present his paper, “Do Cash Transfers Narrow Health Disparities? Evidence from Veterans with Disabilities.” Johnny will be joining the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice in Fall 2024 as an Assistant Professor. His UCLA thesis is advised by Adriana Lleras-Muney, Kathleen McGarry, and Martha Bailey.
