Majority of the public use datasets needed for demographic research can be found in the Social Sciences Data Archives (SSDA) or through its broad professional networks such as ICPSR, although the SSDA itself does not purchase datasets. The SSDA provides assistance in locating data and documentation as needed by researcher, students, and faculty. Assistance is also provided in using codebooks and other data documentation. Technical consulting is provided for file transfer and access, and other computing questions.
The SSDA collaborates with the CCPR Information Core to provide customized data archive and access services for demographic researchers affiliated with the CCPR. To know more about the SSDA at UCLA, refer to the following Web resource:
